molly & the great bear is an independent publication and documentary space launched June 1, 2025.
I'm Molly (that's me ☝🏼), commercial photographer, filmmaker and writer working primarily in animal welfare and field contexts.
As of January 2026, I'm currently documenting animal hoarding investigations across Pima County, Arizona in collaboration with Animal Protection Services (APS) and Pima Animal Care Center (PACC).
This site is where that work lives as it unfolds - through production progress, field experiences and reflections shaped by time spent with the animals and people involved. Alongside the film, I share writing, images and thoughts drawn from field work, motorcycling and the intersections between them.
